Vintage Charles Heidsieck champagne cooler with ornate handles.

Tin cast, exterior polished to a shine with engraved ornate decoration.
Blue enamelled plaque on the front with the inscription Charles Heidsieck.
Engraved signature of Charles Heidsieck on reverse.
Limited edition made in the 1950s in the workshop of the famous Orfrevrerie d’Ánjou.
Markings on the bottom of the jug: Etain, K (= high tin content) and maker’s mark.
Today, it is quite a rare collector’s item.
This original tin-cast model is not identical to the stainless steel versions produced later.
It is a vintage Charles Heidsieck ice cooler with signs of use, wear and scratches.
