In addition to the standard size 0.75L wine and prosecco bottles, most of the French French champagne bottles will fit well in the 10 cm diameter metal containers.
Both sides are embossed with the Carpene Malvolti logo in gold letters.
Carpenè-Malvolti – a company with a long history in the Italian wine industry. The company was founded in 1868.
To this day, it is the only family business in the prosecco and distilling industry that has been in the hands of the same family for 150 years. The production method they developed is still the definitive method of prosecco production today.
It is also thanks to them that prosecco has acquired its own identity. Initially marketed under the name ‘Champagne Italiano’, the name was changed in 1924. This is when the first label with the words ‘Prosecco Amabile dei Colli di Conegliano’ was created.
The winery is located in Conegliano. The town is the artistic centre of the province of Treviso and the cultural centre of the region. It is also home to the first wine school in Italy, founded in 1876 by Antonio Carpenè.
