A mid-20th-century copper champagne cooler featuring rigid handles with grape cluster decorations and a beautifully crafted crest plaque
The handles and crest plaque are made of solid pewter.
This champagne bucket was made in France around the 1930s-1940s by the company ARGIT, whose mark is visible on the bottom of the bucket.
The interior of the bucket is silver-coated and remains in very good condition.
The pewter emblem bears the following inscription:
