The Champagne house was founded by Émile Mercier in 1858 and has been under family management ever since.
The Mercier cellars are among the largest in the Champagne region.
In the enormous cellars, a massive quantity of champagne is aged.
Part of the cellar complex is covered by a glass roof, allowing visitors to explore the depths of the cellars on foot or via a small train, where the champagne is maturing.
