Large Champagne Cooler Ice Bucket with two champagne brand plaques

A rare and elegant large-sized champagne cooler, wine cooler, capable of holding up to 3 bottles.

One side features the Champagne Ruinart emblem (front), while the other side displays the ADAM Brut Sekt emblem (back).

The Ruinart plaque reads as follows:

โ€žChampagne Ruinart

Die alteste Champagner-kellerei der Weltโ€

Translated as: โ€žChampagne Ruinart โ€“ The oldest Champagne cellar in the worldโ€

And the ADAM Brut Sekt inscription advertises a sparkling wine named after Adam Henkell (1801-1866), the founder of what is now Henkell & Co Sektkellerei KG, who opened a wine shop in Mainz in 1832.

The ADAM Brut Sekt is a champagne brand that still exists today, owned by Henkell Freixenet, and it competes in the same league as Ruinart, which is currently owned by LVMH Moรซt Hennessy Louis Vuitton SA.

The champagne cooler presented is of German manufacture and was intended to showcase the Ruinart and ADAM champagne brands.

It was likely produced in the 1970s to serve and educate German champagne consumers, which is why the inscription on it is in German.

Height: 26.5 cm

Upper diameter: 35.5 cm

Depth of the ice bucket: 21 cm

A well-preserved vintage product in excellent condition.
